Part 1

Often we become so bogged down in our lives and in chasing our own dreams that we start overlooking the people who long to be with us; people who are all the time seeking for our attention; our near-and-dear ones. That is exactly what had happened to Rohit and Sonia. Rohit and Sonia were man and wife. Their marriage was arranged by their family members and everyone was happy with the alliance. Rohit’s mom and dad loved their ‘Bahu’ like their own daughter and expected the same kind of warmth and attention from her too. Rohit’s sister Anjali loved her bhabi a lot; thought her to be a dear friend and always wished to be guided by her. In a word, the couple was ‘blessed’ with a loving family which was indeed an asset especially in today’s times when relationships are falling apart; when people are drifting away from each other and turning mechanical and selfish in their approaches. Both Rohit and Sonia were highly placed in their respective professions. Also, they were jointly involved in a part time business which they wished to turn to their main source of income. Their ambition and dreams for success knew no bounds and that spurred them to set out on a marathon…!
