PART 1

It’s been 15 long years now that Mohan and I are happily married to each other but nothing much seems to have changed from the very young days of our love life. We, still feel the sparks flying very high around us and long to be with each other all the time; very much like the ‘old, hot, youthful’ days. I have often heard of ‘love’s sad satiety’ befalling earthly love but in our case I have never known such a thing. Our love burns with same power and brilliance as it used to in the past years and sometimes makes me wonder what it is that causes it to be so especially in the present times when chaotic marriages, broken relationships, ego tussle between couples are quite an ‘in’ thing. When Mohan and I go out in the streets, we capture attention and I often spot people turning around to catch a glimpse of us. Initially it made me feel awkward and conscious but now I don’t mind all that; instead I take pride in the elemental bond that we share and is all set to inspire the world with our lessons of love and solidarity in love. In my vacant hours I often playfully compare our love to that ‘old wine’ that grows richer and tastier only with time…
