Part 1
It was Anita’s first day at college and she like every college fresher was pretty nervous. Clutching her books to herself and with a sling bag strung around her shoulder, this fair skinned slender girl walked down the college corridor nervously.
While she was making her way down, she suddenly felt herself bumping into something or say, someone and in seconds her clutch on the books loosened with the result that everything lay pell-mell on the floor. Anita stooped down to collect her books but before her hand could reach them, someone else’s did. It was a stranger with large dreamy eyes and hair curling down to the nape of the neck. He was in casual T-Shirt and jeans and had a very powerful look paired with chiseled jaw bones.
He picked the books for Anita and apologetically said a ‘sorry’. Anita replied with an ‘it’s ok’, and hurriedly walked down the corridor towards her classroom, still very nervous and perhaps all the more because of this entire episode of collision. That was Anita’s first introduction to a face called ‘Anish’ who was no more than a face to her at that time.
