Ritu, one of the most successful women of the modern times is the gem of her workplace. Her company considers her as an asset and the stories for her work efficiency and workaholism make the rounds everywhere. She is just 22years of age but despite her young age, she is gifted with the brains and efficiency of a corporate giant. That explains why she is now sitting at the pinnacle of professional success at an age of just 22years. Ritu has everything to make for a comfortable, luxurious life. She is high paid; her office provides her free bungalow, car and all other modern amenities to live a comfortable and lavish life. Yet she finds something grossly amiss with her life. She feels that her life is stuck up in a rut. When she comes across other girls of her age she envies them for not being able to be like them- ‘carefree, beauty conscious, lively’. She comes to realize that her personality has a dearth of all these traits and that makes her ‘different’ from the other women of her age. Ritu’s professional success has made her race through life with passion and she hasn’t ever stopped after she joined her work. Yes, ‘passion’ is the word. Ritu has known only one passion so far and that is ‘passion for work’. Her workaholism was now turning heavy on her making her feel over-stressed and claustrophobic.
